We have a clear insight and understanding of what works in our program, and the potential for our genetics to perform and excel in other commercial enterprises.

Our 8-10mth old commercial steers are sold in the Naracoorte December weaner sale every year. In 2023, we had the heaviest weaners we have ever produced. The top pen of steers averaged 450kg, and the top pen of heifers average 378kg. It was a phenomenal result to produce the top price steers and heifers for the weaner sale showing how our livestock can perform under grassfed commercial conditions.

Year on year we consistently achieve fantastic pregnancy testing results even in recent tough seasons, due to our strict selection criteria for autumn calving females. Our herd bulls are selected primarily on phenotype and supported with positive fats and above average scrotal size which we believe are two of the most important traits.

Our genetics are a testament to our discipline and progressive breeding philosophy over many years in the beef industry.
